Everything was a bit uncoordinated, some of the food the portions were just too small ... but everyone was friendly and polite and it tasted good ... everything was good.

The Mendoza Steakhouse is located at the Schwedt main train station. Here you can eat really tasty dishes for a small thaler. The waiters are open-minded and friendly. The ambience is consistent. However, the background noise leaves a lot to be desired late at night, as the acoustics are very noisy due to the open facility. Otherwise you can't say anything bad about the Mendoza. So far I have never been disappointed and always went home full, but above all happy. The pizzas in particular put a smile on the lips of the inclined guest. But the other dishes also received good reviews from my colleagues across the board. Simply great and definitely an asset to the Schwedt gastronomy.

There can be no question of service here. After three quarters of an hour, no drink order was accepted. No, much better! You are stared at and just walk past the table. Very nice!

Have been disappointed again, was very busy, staff overwhelmed. Food was good but only got one drink. Had no time for the guests, too bad !! You couldn't even get an ice cream sundae. We won't go there again.

Strange place, offering Argentianian - Mexican - German - Italian inspired foods by staff who appear to be from none of the above. Management refused to let our group of 19 hikers inside, despite the fact that we were polite and respectful and not rowdy or muddy and the place was almost empty at the time we arrived. The reason given for the refusal was that we would "block the tables" whatever that means. However, they were happy to seat us outside in the cold as the daylight faded where I imagine we also "blocked the tables". The restaurant did receive more guests as we sat shivering in the cold but there would have still been more than enough room to accomodate our group. Drinks are over-priced: more than 4 euros for 0,4 litre beer. The waiter was courteous, but the manager clearly has no idea how to provide a good service. Consequently, we spent far less money here than if we had been allowed to sit indoors. It's a simple concept. if you make people feel welcome then they are far more inclined to spend their money with you.

The restaurant is right by the train station and is nicely decorated. When the shop is full, the background noise is extreme. The food was really excellent. The menu is very extensive. The service could be a bit quicker, but it's definitely worth a visit.
